Migrating from SecureAccess 1.0 to SecureAccess 3.0 on a PC
How do I transfer the data from SecureAccess 1.0 to SecureAccess 3.0?

SecureAccess 3.0 is a fully redesigned password protection and data encryption application which uses a new encryption engine. Due to this we will need to install SecureAccess 3.0 and move the data from SecureAccess 1.0 to SecureAccess 3.0. After the data has been moved to SecureAccess 3.0 we can simply delete SecureAccess 1.0. In the migration method explained below the data is moved from SecureAccess 1.0 to the computer and then from the computer to SecureAccess 3.0. The data can be securely erased from the computer when adding to SecureAccess 3.0 if you choose.

STEP 1 - Copy the data from SecureAccess 1.0 to your computer
1. Open SecureAccess 1.0 highlight the files you would like to copy to the computer, right-click the files and select Restore.

Once the files have been transferred, simply delete the following 3 files associated with SecureAccess 1.0.
- RunSecureAccess-Win.exe
- cacert.pem
- My Vaults

The following files and folders will now be stored on your SanDisk device.

SanDiskSecureAccessV3_Win.exe, SanDiskSecureAccessVault, SecureAccess Settings.

Double click SanDiskSecureAccessV3_Win.exe to launch SecureAccess 3.0

SanDiskSecureAccessVault is where the encrypted database files are stored. DO NOT delete this file. Deleting this file will result in the loss of any data stored inside SecureAccess 3.0.

You have now migrated from SecureAccess 1.0 to SecureAccess 3.0

Once you have migrated to SecureAccess 3.0 you will have an option to backup the encrypted database to your computer. See the link below for instructions on backing up your encrypted files.
