Backing up the "Camera Roll" to the iXpand Flash Drive
How do I backup my Camera Roll photos and videos to the iXpand Flash Drive?

Photos and Videos can be backed up to the iXpand Flash Drive via 2 methods, Camera Sync and Manual Copy.

Camera Sync will automatically copy new photos and videos from your camera roll to the iXpand Flash Drive each time the iXpand Sync application is launched.

To set up Camera Sync, select "Camera Sync" from the iXpand Sync menu and toggle the Automatic Sync switch to the 'on' position. The initial sync may take several minutes depending on the number of photos and videos being copied. Please ensure the iXpand battery is charged above 80% for a large initial sync. Following the initial sync each subsequent time the iXpand drive is connected to your iPhone or iPad newly captured photos and/or videos will automatically sync to the iXpand Flash Drive.

Note: Photos and videos will remain in the camera roll until intentionally deleted.

Manual Copy of photos and videos can be performed by tapping the Plus ( + ) button on the home screen. Upon tapping the Plus button you will be prompted to select photos and videos from your camera roll to copy. Once the desired files are selected you will be prompted to select a destination folder on the iXpand. To complete the copy simply tap the "copy here" button and the file(s) will be copied to your iXpand Flash Drive.
