Opening files in external apps via iXpand Sync
Can I view files stored on my iXpand drive in other apps?
iXpand Sync allows users to open files in third party apps using the Open in feature. To open a file in a compatible app of your choosing, follow the below steps.
1. Navigate to the file of interest.
2. Tap the select button to enable file selection and select the file of interest.
3. Once the file of interest is selected, tap the Share/upload button.
4. In the sharing menu select open in and select the app of your choice.
NOTE: In most cases, opening a file in an external app will automatically copy the file to that app and consume internal app data memory space.
