Following are the methods to rename a Flash Drive/Memory Card on MAC Computer:

Method 1:

1.  Locate the Flash Drive/Memory card on the desktop and click on its Icon so that gets highlighted as shown in the image below:

2.  Once the Drive is highlighted, press Return/Enter key on the keyboard. It will transform the name of the drive to a textbox. Once it is transformed to a textbox, you can rename the Flash Drive/Memory card as shown in the images below:

Method 2

1.  Select the Flash Drive/Memory card, then Right Click on the icon of the Flash Drive/Memory card (Press the Command key and Click on the icon of the Flash Drive), choose 'Get Info' from the Drop Down Menu as show in the image below.

2.  Click on the triangle next to 'Name & Extension' as shown in the image.
 

3.  The name block will appear, click on the name block and type the new name.Press Tab or Enter to accept the new name.
