The setup process outlined below includes connecting your smartphone to the iXpand Wireless Charger via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. As a best practice, your smartphone should temporarily not be paired with any other Bluetooth device during the setup process.

1. Connect one end of the power adapter into the DC power connector on the iXpand Wireless Charger device, and connect the other end of the power adapter into an AC power outlet.
2. Download and install the iXpand Charger app from the applicable app store.
3. Agree to the End User License Agreement by tapping the Continue button.
4. Tap, either, the Agree to share or do not share buttons.
5. For the Location Access, please choose Allow all the time
6. Allow the iXpand Charger app to find the iXpand Wireless Charger.
7. After the charger is found, tap the Continue button.
8. The save PIN message displays; it is recommended to make a note of the PIN.
9. For a complete continuous backup, tap the Continue button for the Allow Location Access and select the option Always Allow. If another option is selected, the continuous backup feature will not function.
10. On the Allow Contact Access screen, choose Continue for the iXpand Charger app to backup your contacts.
11. On the Allow Contact Notifications screen, choose Continue for the iXpand Charger app to send notifications.
12. Next, connect to Wi-Fi by selecting Yes to the question, Would you like to connect to Your Home network?
    • If a home network is not available, the iXpand Wireless Charger will broadcast its own SSID to create a Wi-Fi Direct connection with your smartphone.
13. In the Available Network screen, select your wireless network. Enter the password for network access and tap Join.
14. Connecting to the network may take a few moments. After this completes, to begin the account setup process by tapping the Sign Up button or skip this option then skip to step 18.
15. Fill in the required fields and tap Sign Up.
16. Once the account is setup the Allow Analytics screen will display. Select either Allow or Don't Allow.
17. To complete this process, you will receive an email to confirm your new SanDisk account. Follow the instructions noted on the email.
18. Review the information screens.
19. Tap the All Done button.
20. Congratulations! Your iXpand Wireless Charger and iXpand Charger app are now ready to use.
