Make sure your
Sansa Connect player is charged and the
HOLD switch is in the unlocked position. Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds, then release it. This will force the
Sansa connect player to reset and restart.
If your player still will not start after trying the reset, you may need to run the
Sansa Connect Recovery application.
With a copy of the
Sansa Connect Recovery application installed on a PC, you can connect your to the device via the USB cable to the PC, and restore the device software to an uncorrupted state.
However, all of your subscription settings and content will be removed from the device.
STEP 1 - Download and install the Sansa Connect No-Wifi Recovery Tool (.exe, 66MB)
STEP 2 - Put your Sansa Connect player in Recovery Mode
1. Press and hold the
Power button for approximately 8 seconds to turn off the player.
2. While holding down the
Right button, and
Volume Up Button,
press-and-release the
Power button. Keep holding the
Right and
Volume Up button. After a few seconds, the player will start and a
Recovery Needed message will on the player's screen.
3. Connect the player to a PC.
4. A
SanDisk Device Recovery dialog box will appear on your PC. Choose
Recover Sansa Device and click
OK.
5. Follow the steps in the SanDisk Device Recovery application.
