USB 3.0 flash drive detected in USB 2.0 port but not in USB 3.0 port

Why is my USB 3.0 flash drive detected in USB 2.0 ports but not in USB 3.0 ports?

If you have a SanDisk USB 3.0 flash drive that is not being detected in USB 3.0 ports but working in USB 2.0 ports we recommend that you try a different USB 3.0 port and/or try a USB 3.0 port on a different computer to verify the problem is not with your USB 3.0 port. If the drive is still not detected on other ports / computers it's possible there is a hardware problem with the flash drive.

If the above steps have not solved the problem, please back up your data and contact SanDisk Technical Support who will replace the device if it is authentic and within warranty.
